This interview is based on Gary's new book, The Rapture and the Fig Tree Generation.

The "Rapture of the Church" is a non-event. Nearly 200 years of trying to make this doctrine fit into Scripture has been unsuccessful because the Rapture is only made necessary by another faulty doctrine: the distinction between Israel and the Church.

In this interview, Gary DeMar makes it clear that the Rapture is a "manufactured doctrine that is used to prop up an existing doctrine that gets imported into so many passages of Scripture." He also shows that the timing of the Rapture is irrelevant—pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib—because they all rely on the faulty hermeneutic of separating Israel and the Church into two "classes" of God's people.

So much of the Rapture doctrine depends, and is imported into, Daniel 9. Listen as Gary DeMar explains why Daniel 9 can't and won't support such textual manipulation by Rapture advocates.
